"As far as the neverending problem with the knee... So, I am buying boots today and they will be expensive, I will need money in my account after that--there is a good reason why and I think you will understand. The mission doctor called this morning and went through a lot of analogies of how much weight one puts on their body in relation to some really big airplanes (he obviously talks to a lot of Elder's) and said that with the wear of my boot in certain places and how my knee hurts, I have damage on the maniscus or however one spells that. There are two options. He said I have to basically never run, cannot walk too much, he said never put weight on it, have good support (he thanks you for that), use ibuprofen only when it hurts, and he'll call back in a few weeks. The other option breaks my heart. He said that I will need to get an MRI and most likely go home to have surgery and have to recover for about 6 months. I am sorry, but I don't want to be home for Christmas!"
